Family Shows Tickets
A CONCERT to raise money for the victims of the Asian tsunami disaster has sold out within three days.
All 60,000 tickets for the Live-Aid-style event to be held at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium later this month have now been snapped up.
Organisers said demand had been " overwhelming", with 20,000 being sold within an hour of going on sale.
Event planners are looking at the position of the stage in the stadium to see if they can release more tickets.
Yesterday it was revealed that the Manic Street Preachers, Badly Drawn Boy, Snow Patrol and Embrace would join t he stars already confirmed to play at the concert including Eric Clapton, Jools Holland, Lemar, Feeder, Kathryn Jenkins and Aled Jones.
Meanwhile the number of Britons presumed killed by the tsunami has fallen from 453 to 416, Downing Street announced today.
